CELEBRATING SUCCESS | THE FCCI 2024 ANNUAL REPORT
Celebrating 65 Years of FCCI: A Continuing Legacy of Trust
On April 1, 2024, FCCI marked a significant milestone—its 65th anniversary. The celebration on March 22nd was a testament to the hard work and dedication of past and present teammates who have lived the company's values. Cina Welch, President & CEO, welcomed everyone to the special occasion, both those attending in person and those participating via live stream from FCCI’s regional locations.
Reflection on FCCI’s Journey
In her remarks, Cina took a moment to reflect on the remarkable achievements that have shaped FCCI's legacy. "From our humble beginnings in 1959, FCCI was founded by a group of individuals in the construction industry who struggled to get workers’ compensation insurance. They started a self-insurance fund in Florida. It was just one line of business in one state," she shared. "And here we are, 65 years later, writing all commercial property and casualty lines of business in 20 states, plus Washington, D.C., and our surety operations have expanded to 45 states." Cina expressed gratitude for the founders' vision and foresight, which laid the foundation for FCCI's growth and success.
Cina emphasized that FCCI's success is driven by its passionate and committed teammates. "Each policy written, each claim closed, each relationship built, and each project completed have brought FCCI to where it is today," she said. She also acknowledged the crucial roles of agents, policyholders, and vendor partners in fueling FCCI's growth. "Their trust and loyalty have ensured our continued success," she added.
Celebration Highlights
The celebration featured an FCCI timeline video titled "A History of Trust" and a motivational keynote by Sebastian Terry, who spoke about pursuing passions, embracing challenges, and living a life of purpose.
