Celebrating our 60th with John Maxwell
Marking FCCI’s lasting legacy
FCCI’s 60th anniversary marked an incredible milestone in FCCI’s journey. The pinnacle was highlighted on Wednesday, April 3, 2019, when FCCI Insurance Group kicked off a 60th anniversary celebration from its Sarasota headquarters with a live feed to all teammates and various business partners across its regional footprint.
In acknowledgement of our six-decade landmark success and tremendous growth, our devoted teammates and agents were recognized throughout the six regions where FCCI does business.
John C. Maxwell shared his insights and inspiration with FCCI as the keynote speaker. Maxwell addressed key points from his latest book, “Leadershift: The 11 Essential Changes Every Leader Must Embrace.” He applauded FCCI’s legacy of “60 years of keeping promises” and building a unique company culture.
Many attendees were recognized at the event, including current FCCI board members and former board members including Ray Neff, Charles Stottlemeyer, Ron Foxworthy, Peter Currin (on behalf of Russ Currin) as well as retired officers: Rupert Willis, Joe Keene, Tom Koval and Ned Wilson.
“I am honored to be a part of such a momentous occasion. After being at this event, I feel like I have been at a great family reunion,” said John Maxwell.
As a celebratory gift, a supplement to FCCI’s history book, “A Lasting Legacy,” authored by Ed Wilks, was given to all FCCI teammates.
